I used to be a lifeguard at the pool and recently re-visted it. There were quite a few changes. There were new ID passes and no longer a concession stand but vending machines. New shade structures and lounge chairs, but no heater or wading pool. It was great to see a new lifeguard chair in the zero depth area.
Both boards were still in sue, which is unusual in this day and age and the slide was packed.
I want to commend a young man who has worked for the Village for a couple of years. Nate Ulrey has been an asset to the Village and has helped many citizens. He is an extremely hard worker and gave a 100% to all projects he undertook.
The Village is a better place because of him. He has taught the service employees about trees and was instrumental in removing the ash trees before the emerald borer destroyed them and they fell. I was honored to work with him. He has taken a leave of absence from the Village and he will be missed.

This is just a note of praise for Blanchard Valley Hospital. I'm amazed that some people go off to some "big city" for surgery and/or treatment, when we have the very best right here in Bluffton and Findlay, at the Blanchard Valley Hospital association.
I have just finished going through cardiac rehabilitation at BVH, and I can't say enough good about the staff and facilities right here in Findlay.
Hi!
Just wanted to say that I was just in on your site and I think it's a great idea. My dad, Howard Shelly, told me about it, as I am visiting this week. Now I can keep up with Bluffton, while in Denmark.
Sincerely
Beth Shelly
