In addition to Mustard Seed’s regular menu on Friday and Saturday nights, the following features are available this weekend:

Dinner: White fish with rhubarb compote and crème over couscous with fresh mint and almonds

Filet mignon with cabernet crème and smoked gouda over fettuccini

Light plate: Fromage with roasted beet, arugula and baguette

Dessert: Red velvet cake with coconut crème cheese frosting and a dark chocolate ganache

Following are some of the issue highlights:

In April the Ohio Department of Health conducted its first survey since Willow Ridge opened.

The purpose of these annual surveys is to ensure that the quality of care and the quality of life of the elders is provided for in a “homelike” environment.

An Eastern Tiger Swallowtail butterfly, common in many Bluffton backyards, enjoys the nectar of a butterfly bush on an August afternoon.

Rachel Mary Yoakam, 75, died Aug. 12, 2014, at 10:10 p.m. at St. Rita's Medical Center, LIma. She was born June 29, 1939, in Lima to Carl and Edith Hartman DeVier who preceded her in death. On June 7, 1958, she married Gerald "Jerry" Yoakam and he survives in Lakeview.

She graduated from Bluffton High School. She was a homemaker and member of First Mennonite Church, Bluffton.
