Jamie Mehaffie, Bluffton village administrator, will attend an applicant's briefing on Sept. 5 in hopes to have the village qualify for clean-up reimbursement funds due to the June 29 severe thunderstorm.
Mehaffie said that no individual assistance is authorized from the storm - only municipalities. The village administrator hopes to begin the process for reimbursement of eligible costs incurred by the village.

All-session tickets go on sale Monday, August 27, beginning at 9 a.m. for the 2012 Ohio High School Athletic Association State Football Finals.
The six championship games will take place on Friday, November 30, and Saturday, December 1, at Fawcett Stadium in Canton and Paul Brown Tiger Stadium in Massillon. 2012 marks the 23rd year that Stark County will host the state football championships.

The 2012 Bluffton football season started with a broken record and an impressive showing on the ground. Bluffton racked up 270 yards rushing and even more importantly, limited Cory-Rawson to only 134 yards of total offense on their turf.
With a convincing 30-0 showing in the first game of the season on the road, Bluffton seems poised to be a tough match-up this upcoming year.
