Rehearsals for a performance of Marty Park’s “Prayer for America: A Declaration of Dependence” will be held at 7 p.m., Tuesdays, beginning April 16, in Room 115 at Ebenezer Mennonite Church, 8905 Columbus Grove Road, Bluffton.
Anyone interested in singing, from high school students to adults, is welcome to join the rehearsals, which will lead to a performance at 7 p.m., Thursday, May 2, in the Crossroads Ministry Center at Ebenezer.
Brent Zimmerman, Adult Choir Director at Ebenezer, will be conducting. Music scores will be available for singers to borrow.

ELEMENTARY BOOK FAIR WEEK OF APRIL 16th: The annual elementary spring Book Fair will be held April 16 – 20. The Book Fair will be open daily from 8 a.m. until 3:30 p.m. Tuesday evening (6-8 p.m.) will be FAMILY NIGHT. This Book Fair is a Buy One/Get One Free (BOGO). The Book Fair will close at 2 p.m. on Friday.

Bluffton University senior Brent Schroeder, from Continental, Ohio, won the university’s annual C. Henry Smith Peace Oratorical Contest on April 10.
In addition to earning a $175 cash prize, Schroeder qualified for a binational contest with top finishers from other North American Mennonite colleges.

While the Little and Big Rileys are flooding its banks only in low areas, Findlay Mayor Lydia Mihalik is urging residents in at least one neighborhood to evacuate as rainstorms raise the water level of a flood-prone river.
The Bluffton High School Music Department presents "Alice in Wonderland," this weekend in the middle school cafetorium. The performance is the Prince Street Players version.
Performances are at 7:30 p.m. on Friday and Saturday, April 12-13, and 2 p.m. Sunday, April 14.
Tickets are now on sale at Bluffton Middle School during office hours. Tickets are:

The Pandora United Methodist Church will be hosting a free community meal on Wednesday, April 24, from 5:30 to 7:00 p.m. in the church fellowship hall, 108 E. Washington Street, Pandora.
The meal this month is provided by Lita's Leaders will be Sloppy Joe Sandwich, augratin potatoes, green beans, dessert and beverage.
