The Wednesday, March 23rd, Lenten service at Trinity Evangelical Lutheran Church, 301 North Main Street, Jenera, will be based on the theme "A Part of the Whole?" from Luke 23:13-16.  

The service begins at 7:00 p.m. and all are welcome.  

Mornings with Mommy, a time for caregivers with their children from 0-6 years to explore activities together, will be held in the church basement on Monday and Tuesday, March 21+22 from 9:30-10:30 a.m. 

As part of CommunityREAD month, the Findlay-Hancock County Public Library is holding the following programs, among others:

At 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday, March 22  in the Lindamood Room, The Black Heritage Library and Multicultural Center presents The Underground Railroad in Findlay. Participants will learn about how our area and its people affected history.  

At 5:00 p.m. on Thursday, March 24, the library will host a movie viewing in the Lindamood Room. The film is a documentary, Lorraine Hansberry: Sighted Eyes, Feeling

Little Riley Creek farm recently welcomed newborn goats to their herd of Dwarf Nigerian/Nubian Cross and Dwarf Nigerian/Alpine Cross. In these photos, the kids are one week old.

Amanda Riess of Ada has announced that she and Brian Butcher, president of Clemans, Nelson & Associates, are doing a webinar on effective ways for employers to overcome the current, crazy market and fast-changing workforce.

Mennonite Memorial Home, 410 W. Elm, Bluffton, will hold their annual Easter Egg Hunt at 10 a.m. on Saturday, April 9. The hunt will be held in the backyard of the Mennonite Home.

Eight swimmers from Bluffton schools qualified for the Great Lakes YMCA Zones Swimming Championship March 18-20, 2022 at the C.T. Banin Natatorium and Canton McKinley High School.

Jenna Downey, Camden Verb and Riley Verb swim for the Putnam County YMCA swim team under assistant coach, Bob Verb of Bluffton. Jackson Bowlus, Allison Diller, Kari Diller, Xavier Diller and Madelyn Sterrett swim for the Lima YMCA swim team coached by April Dorman of Bluffton. In the summer, they all swim for the Bluffton Sardines.

Tickets are now on sale for the Bluffton High School April 8, 9, 10 production of Virgil's Wedding, which will be performed on the Middle School stage.

This weekend Blufftonite Trevor Bassitt is competing in the Men's 400 meters in the World Athletics Indoor Championships Belgrade 22. The Bluffton Athletic Boosters Facebook page has tipped us off that he is advancing to the semifinals.
