BFR Sports & Fitness will host a day-long exhibition of craft vendors and home business consultants on Saturday, Sept. 28 from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m..  An admission fee of $1 will be charged at the door as a donation toward operations of the Bluffton-based recreation center. The Expo is one of many events scheduled on Bluffton’s Fall Festival Day.

Starting Friday, September 13 and playing through Thursday, Sept 19, will be THE BUTLER (PG-13).

Showtimes are every evening at 7 p.m. and 9:30 p.m.

Saturday and Sunday matinees at  1:30 p.m. and 4 p.m.

The Cory-Rawson Impressions Show Choir is having a craft show on Saturday, Oct 12, from 1-4 p.m. at Cory-Rawson High School.

All table rental fees go to benefit show choir.  There is still room for vendors and many items to choose from ranging from homemade goodies and direct sales.

Trick-or-treat night in Bluffton is set. Dennis Gallant, Bluffton mayor, set the date as 6 to 7:30 p.m., Thursday, Oct. 31, which happens to be the actual Halloween night this year.

 

On Saturday, Sept. 7, at noon the public is invited to gather at St. Mary's Catholic Church for a time of prayer and fasting for peace in Syria, according to Wendy Chappell-Dick. 

People of all backgrounds and faiths are invited to skip lunch and come together to fast and pray for the people of Syria.

Attendees will be encouraged to contact Rep. Jim Jordan and Senators Rob Portman and Sherrod Brown urging them to avoid any violent response to the violence and suffering in Syria.

A car wash and bake goods sale takes place Saturday, Sept. 14, at Ideal Images, corner of College and Triplett Drive.

The event is by donation only and all proceeds go to coast-to-coast baseball for Zak Kuhlman and Chris McClain.

The two are Bluffton High School seniors who will travel to Florida and Puerto Rico.
