“Origins of Faith,” A Pilgrim’s Journey in the Holy Land is planned for Nov. 3 – 13, 2014. This pilgrimage trip is sponsored through the Pandora United Methodist Church and will be hosted by the pastor, Rev. Duane Kemerley, and his wife, Deb.
There is an information session scheduled for those who would like to know more: Sunday, Jan. 19, 2:30 p.m. at the Pandora United Methodist Church, 108 E Washington St. (Route 12), Pandora.
The Pandora United Methodist Church will host a free community meal on Wednesday, Jan. 29, from 5:30 to 7 p.m. in the church fellowship hall, 108 E. Washington St., Pandora. The meal this month is provided by 7'oclock Flock. The menu will be tomato soup, grilled cheese sandwich, relish tray, dessert and beverage.
The churches of Pandora and Gilboa are offering food boxes for households in the Pandora-Gilboa School District.
The boxes are designed to provide nine meals for a family of four. In order to pick up a box, you must register by calling 419-384-3038 by 5 pm on Monday Jan. 20.
Boxes will be available to be picked up on Saturday, Jan. 25 at 11 a.m. at the Grace Mennonite Church located at 502 East Main Street Pandora.
Trinity Lutheran Church, Jenera, will hold a 7 p.m. New Year’s Eve Service Dec. 31. There will be a worship service to begin the New Year on Wednesday, Jan. 1 at 9:30 a.m. More information is available at: tlcjenera.org or 419-326-5331.

A special afternoon Christmas Eve service by the students of Trinity Lutheran Church and School, Jenera, called "The Carols of Christmas” will be held on Friday, Dec. 20, at 1 p.m. in the church at 301 N. Main St., Jenera. The students from Pre-school through Eighth Grade will tell of the birth of Christ through Word and Christmas hymns. Pre-service music by the youth will begin at 12:30 p.m.
