First United Methodist Church election day lunch-dinner, Nov. 5

First United Methodist Church, Bluffton, holds its annual election day lunch and dinner in the church Fellowship Hall, 116 Church St., Tuesday, Nov. 5.

Lunch is served from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Items are individually prices. The menu includes:

• Home made soup, $2
• Sandwiches, $2
• Salads, $1
• Desserts, $1.50
• Beverages, 50 cents

Dinner is served from 4:30 to 7 p.m. The cost is $7 for adults and $3.50 for youth 10 and under. The menu includes:

Mom-to-Mom sale Nov. 2 at Ebenezer Mennonite

A Mom-to-Mom sale is from 9 a.m. to noon on Saturday, Nov. 2, at Ebenezer Mennonite Church. The sale is hosted by the Ebenezer MOPS group, said Kim Fritsch. 

Admission is $2 or two canned goods, with money going to the Bluffton Food Pantry.

Booths will contain mom-related items, such as maternity clothes, baby gear, clothes and toys.  If you are interested in a booth, there are still some available. Please email Denise Rex at [email protected] for more information.

Pandora United Methodist election day dinner Nov. 5

The Pandora United Methodist Church will host an election day dinner on Tuesday, Nov. 5, from 5-7 p.m. The meal will be baked steak, green beans, mashed potato and gravy, salad bar and dessert.  The cost is $7 adults, $4 3-12 year olds, free under 3 years old. The church is located on  State Route 12, Pandora.

Trinity United Methodist coat drive underway

Trinity United Methodist Church, State Route 103, is holding its fifth annual winter coat drive. All new and gently used winter coats and apparel for all ages and genders are needed.

Collection boxes are at Community Market and The Sports Warehouse. For for information contact committee members are either 567-242-4700 or 419-722-6201.

Dinner serving is from 4:30 to 7 p.m. The cost is $7 for adults and $3.50 for youth 10 and under. The menu includes baked steak, mashed potatoes, vegetable, roll, dessert and beverage.

Carry out is available for both meals.

Full Sound Chamber Group will perform at St. John's UCC Nov. 17

Full Sound Chamber Group will perform in concert at 3 p.m., Sunday, Nov. 17, at St. John's United Church of Christ, 223 W. College Ave., Bluffton, according to Rev. Carol Clements, pastor.

The performance is open to the public with no admission charge.

The chamber group iincludes five classically-trained musicians performing on violin, viola, cello, double bass and piano. A free-will offering will be taken.

The performance includes music of Czerny, Hebden, Coates and Lalo.
